Bunkmate

Find the person you'll share a tiny room with for a whole year. Your best fits show up first.

How it works

Make a profile, pick your college, and answer five questions about how you live. You only see people headed to the same college. Like someone who likes you back and you can chat.

How the fit score works

Each answer is a spot on a scale. The closer you and someone else land, the higher the score. Lights out runs from 8 PM to 3 AM or later. Sleep and tidiness count a little extra, since those cause the most fights.

Lights out: 1.4x
Tidiness: 1.3x
Going out: 1.2x
Friends over: 1x
Room vibe: 1x

On each card, the white Y is you and the colored circle is them. If you go to bed early and a roommate is out late a lot, their card gets a heads-up. Interests never change the score. The # button filters by up to 5 interests, and everyone else still follows.

Colleges

The college search uses a list of Common App member colleges. It comes from a third-party list, so a few schools might be missing or out of date. Can't find yours? Type its name and use it anyway.
